Acacia pycnantha (Golden Wattle)

Drought-resistant, fast-growing tree up to 10 m tall. Prefers a sunny position in dry, well-drained soils. It is the national floral emblem. It is a screening and windbreak tree and is useful for erosion control. It was an important Aboriginal plant for food, containers, medicine and glue.
