Convolvulus erubescens (Pink Bindweed, Australian Bindweed, Blushing Bindweed)
Indigenous
Drought-resistant, fast-growing groundcover up to 30 cm tall.
Prefers an open sunny position in dry well-drained soils.
The Aborigines used a boiled water extract to treat diarrhoea and stomach ache. The woody taproot was cooked in baskets, then kneaded into dough.
